Introduction to Intermediate Arabic

Introduction to Intermediate Arabic concentrates on implementation of principles taught in Beginner Arabic . It allows for a easier transition from Beginner Arabic into Madinah Book One by further exploration of Arabic dialog, reading, writing and pronunciation, as well as helping to build a more extensive and comprehensive Arabic vocabulary. The focus of the class will preparation of class is preparation of the student for the next level and grammar rules.

*This class is a mandatory pre-requisite class prior to entering Madinah Book One for all students who have completed Beginner Arabic Level 3

Intermediate Arabic Classes

Arabic Course for the English Speaking Student: Level One

(Madinah Book One)

This class has six levels:

  • Each class is eight weeks in length and completes two levels.

  • There is an assessment every four weeks.

  • Passing the four week assessment progresses you to the next level.

You will learn:

  • Arabic grammar rules

  • Reading

  • Vocabulary

  • Comprehension

Madinah Book One: Side Book

Arabic Course for the English Speaking Student Supplemental Books

  • Reading and Conversation - Level One

  • Imlaa (Writing and Dictation) - Level One

As-Sarf 

This class has three levels:                                                                                  

  • Each class is eight weeks in length and completes two levels.

  • There is an assessment every four weeks.

  • Passing the the four week assessment progresses you to the next level.

  • Arabic grammar rules (nahw)

  • Word morphology (sarf)
